7 Reasons to go Camping At Least Once in a Year
When’s the last time you slept under the stars and have your dinner over an open fire? Camping is a completely unique experience that is a must-do for everyone, it gives you an opportunity to get yourself out of the bustle of the city life and explore the outdoors. Triplisters has compiled 7 good reasons why you should go camping at least once in a lifetime:
1. Escape the bustle of Citylife
Escape the bustle and hustle of your ordinary daily routine to find peace or solitude. Camping allows you to escape from hectic city life, and nothing can be compared to strolling amongst the quiet scenery or not being able to meditate. If you’re ever feeling overburdened or stressed out, camping is your answer.
2. Get closer to Mother nature
Nothing beats the awesome feeling you get as you uncover the sweet wrap of nature. Take a deep breath, a big step and relax more as you enjoy the outdoors and the scenic wonders of nature while you still can. Think about sitting around a campfire under a clear sky, gazing up at the stars and listening to the sounds of the night. Camping is truly rejuvenating!
3. Try exciting outdoor cookings & games
Even if you’re a city slicker and could never imagine yourself sleeping on the ground and cooking over a fire. Get over yourself! Once you’ve tried it, chances are you’ll be hooked for life. Camping is a unique experience that gives you an excuse to cook hot dogs on sticks and potatoes ‘on the grill. Ultimately delicious!
4. Travel
You don’t have to break the bank before travelling
Camping is an exciting way to travel. You can explore the place more with your day hikes and adventure, especially if it is a place you have never visited. Take the long-adventurous weekend even if you dig through your busy schedule to find a free space. It is worth the trial!
5. New Friends
Sitting around campfire talking is one of the easiest ways to connect and discover people around you. Sometimes we get so busy with our daily task that we forget to go out make new friends, network and probably start a good conversation. Use camping as a way to connect with people. Who knows, maybe your next friend can be a Tola, Musa or Chima!
6. Refresh before the new work week
Don’t let the work break you before you take that break. A dose of fresh air and spelling view might be one of the best ways to clear your mind before the work week. If you really need to get the job done, take your laptop with you and work with no distraction. You are bound to resume looking more refreshed than ever.
7. Understand the true meaning of “Relaxcation“
You work hard all week; you truly deserve a break. You earn it! Soak up the beauty of the beautiful environment you’d like to camp on by listening to the tumbling waves of the beach, the breeze blowing through the tree or the beautiful sunset. You might not understand the essence of it all but remember to take lovely pictures to refresh the memory. Bliss.
Search for your youth and go camping! And, wherever you find peace, stop for a moment and reflect on how blessed you are to be able to live on this beautiful planet that we call campground Earth. Remember to take lovely pictures to make your friends back home insanely jealous.
